Electric mountain bike – the most important equipment of an e-bike includes the electric motor, battery and LCD display with control functions for pedalling assist power. The motors are centrally mounted, in the front or in the rear wheel, and support the cyclist up to a speed of 25 km/h. Aluminium frame, mountain-type shock absorber, trekking saddle, off-road tread tyres, 27.5″ or 29″ wheels are all features of an electric MTB bike. The traditional transmission system includes external derailleurs, which offer the option of supporting between eight and nine gears.
